NOTICE

This Planning Commission meeting on March 25, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., will be held virtually and in- person at the Council Chambers located at 2415 University Avenue, First Floor, East Palo Alto, CA 94303. The virtual portion of this meeting will be conducted in accordance with City of East Palo Alto Resolution adopted pursuant to Assembly Bill 361.

 

The public may participate in the Planning Commission meeting via Zoom meeting or by attending in-person at the Council Chambers at 2415 University Avenue, First Floor, East Palo Alto, CA 94303. Members of the public may provide comments by signing up on the City’s meeting page https://www.cityofepa.org/citycouncil/page/agenda-and-minutes or by attending the meeting live via Zoom and using the “RAISE HAND” feature when the Chair or Planning Clerk calls for public comment.

Design Review (DR18-022) Conditional Use Permit (CUP20-002) to allow late-night operation, Legal Nonconforming Adjustment, and Tree Removal Permit (TRP24-02) for the proposed physical improvements of an existing gas station, at 2194 University Avenue, East Palo Alto, CA 94303. APN 063-321-400 (Continued from February 26, 2024)

 

Recommendation:

Item continued to May 20, 2024.

Proposed Vesting Condominium Tentative Tract Map (TTM23-002) for a one lot subdivision with 14 airspace/condominium units on 0.656 gross acres, Design Review Permit (DR18-023) for development of 14 three-story single-family attached residential units, and a Tree Removal Permit (TRP23-001) to remove five protected trees at 717 Donohoe Street in East Palo Alto CA 94303. APN 063-374-350

 

Recommendation:

Adopt a resolution:

  1. Approving Vesting Condominium Tentative Tract Map (TTM23-002), Design Review (DR18-023), and Tree Removal Permit (TRP23-001) based on the findings, and subject to the standard requirements and conditions of approval, included in this staff report as may be amended by the Planning Commission; and

 

  1. Finding that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Section 15332 - In-Fill Development Projects of the CEQA guidelines.
